At an altitude of 1300 meters, above the village of COLMARS-LES-ALPES, les Transhumances is an old - but recently restored - farm house with a characteristic traditional architecture. Located in an agricultural and wooded landscape, the farm offers a wonderful view of the Verdon valley, the village of COLMARS-LES-ALPES and the surrounding mountains.
This exceptional sunny site has hosted a farm as far back as the 19th century, owing to a forefather of the Barbaroux family. Extended in 1900, the house has become a solid, four-storey building.
The farm Les Transhumances is less than one kilometre far from COLMARS-LES-ALPES (with 60 meters change in level!) i.e. a 10' walk or 5' ride or drive. In the village, one can find all the shops and utilities: groceries, doctors, chemists, taxi and garage.
